All investigations are conducted strictly within the law. We will not undertake any activity that constitutes an unlawful act, including unauthorised access to data, trespass, or any form of deception that would constitute a criminal offence.

Our methods are proportionate to the objective. We use the least intrusive means necessary to achieve the legitimate aim of the investigation, and we continually assess proportionality throughout each engagement.

All client instructions, case details, and findings are treated as strictly confidential. Information is shared only with those who have a legitimate need to receive it, and we maintain secure records management at all times.

We report only what we have observed, verified, or can substantiate. We do not embellish, speculate, or omit material facts. Our reports are prepared to a standard suitable for use in legal proceedings.

We act independently and objectively. Our findings are not shaped by the outcome a client may desire. Where evidence does not support a client's position, we report that clearly and without qualification.

We recognise that individuals have a right to privacy. Surveillance and data-gathering activities are conducted only where there is a legitimate purpose, and we take care to minimise any intrusion beyond what is necessary.

Our investigators maintain and develop their professional knowledge, including changes in legislation, case law, and best practice guidance. We invest in training and hold relevant professional accreditations.

We reserve the right to decline or terminate any instruction that we believe to be unlawful, unethical, or contrary to the public interest. No commercial consideration will cause us to act outside these principles.
